Some Form One students of St Joseph’s Private School came up with a few interesting home-based science experiments during CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order) under the online guidance of their Science teacher, Ms Tay Hui Na.
Xavier Chang (F1 Gamma) came up with two simple but amazing experiments, namely, instant relighting of a candle wick and pepper grains pushed aside by dishwashing liquid.
Ivan Wong (F1 Rho) shows us how to make a “rubber egg.” He guides us step by step on how to make a real bouncy and squeezy egg from a raw egg with just some vinegar. It is a natural organic reaction between the calcium carbonate element of the egg shell and the acidic composition of vinegar.
