Swimming Champion

At the Sixth Samarahan-Kuching Divisions Primary and Secondary Inter-School Swimming Championship, 10 – 11 September 2016, St Joseph’s Private Secondary School emerged the overall champion for the first time since it joined the championship in 2012. This event is organised annually by the Kota Samarahan Amateur Swimming Association (KOTAS). The event was held for the first time at the new Pandelela Rinong Aquatics Centre in Petra Jaya, Kuching.

The Challenge Trophy

A summary of the overall points is as below (total 16 secondary schools):
1. St Joseph’s Private Secondary School – 464 points
2. SMK Kuching High – 364 points
3. SMK Batu Lintang – 293 points
4. SM Lodge – 221 points
5. SMK Padungan – 213 points

St Joseph’s Private Primary School finished fourth overall (total 20 primary schools).
1. SJK Chung Hua No. 2 – 323.5 points
2. SJK Chung Hua No. 4 – 290 points
3. SK Lodge – 169 points
4. St Joseph’s Private Primary School – 145 points
4. SK Tunku Putra – 144 points
