This art competition was opened to all Secondary students of St Joseph’s Private School in conjunction with Sarawak Day 2020 which falls on 22 July every year.
The theme of the competition was Sarawak Bumi Kenyalang. Students can choose to portray Sarawak through the flora and fauna of this beautiful region or to draw forth the richness of its heritage and culture in art.
The competition ran through the month of July in 2020 and ended just before Sarawak Day. There were more participation from the Lower Secondary. Therefore, more prizes were awarded in that category.
