St. Joseph’s Private Schools is made up of three schools that follow the Malaysian National Curriculum, namely, St. Joseph’s Private Primary School (For students ages 7 to 12) and St Joseph’s Private Secondary School (For students ages 13 to 17), and a school that follows the International Cambridge syllabus, St Joseph’s International School Kuching (For students ages 13 to 19). St. Joseph’s Private Schools is a Catholic Mission School. It is a non-profit organization where all students are encouraged to discover an enthusiasm for learning and a spirit of inquiry, whilst also benefiting from a community that nurtures pupils as individuals and promotes the importance of shared values. These values are human moral values as well as religious values. We strive to provide a holistic learning environment for our students, with excellent learning facilities and resources, combined with dedicated and certified teachers, to ensure that our students have our best interest in heart when it comes to their future education.

We are inviting applications from committed teachers to join our team with qualifications and job responsibilities as listed below:

  • Candidates must possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the subject that they are applying to teach. Those with a recognised teaching certification would be at an advantage. 
  • Candidates must have excellent subject knowledge.
  • Candidates must have a sound understanding of the Malaysian National School Curriculum and have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a school environment.
  • Candidates must have good command of the languages used as the medium of instruction.
  • Candidates must be able to teach creatively using a wide variety of methods and approaches including the use of technology.
  • Retired government school teachers are strongly encouraged to apply.
