The White Rajah of Sarawak

Launching of “The White Rajah of Sarawak” The launching of the musical was done during the school Mass on 28 June 2017. A huge banner on the White Rajah was unfurled after the presentation of the song, “Dum Spiro Spero” which is one of  the original songs of the musical. Fr Francis Lim, SJ blessed the cast and crew of the musical at the end of Mass.

Visit of Jason Brooke On 6 July 2017, Jason Brooke, a sixth generation descendant of the first White Rajah, James Brooke, visited St Joseph’s Private School. He was treated to a sneak preview of the musical in the Lecture Room. Liza Sedeni, the manager of the Brooke Gallery at Fort Margharita, was present.
