A Morning to Remember: First AUSMAT Graduation at St. Joseph International School
St. Joseph International School made history with its first AUSMAT graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024/2025 — the first in Borneo. The event honored six trailblazing graduates: Amanda Toh, Kiara Law, Megan Thien, Sean Wee, Soo Jung Ning, and Timothy Liu.
The ceremony opened with a moving performance of “Viva La Vida,” followed by heartfelt speeches and a touching flower presentation to parents. CEO Chris Chua praised the students’ resilience and the school’s achievement in offering both AUSMAT and A-Levels. Roshan Perera of SCSA acknowledged the teachers’ dedication and welcomed students to pursue studies in Australia.
The celebration ended with a lively student performance and the Best Student Award, given to Soo Jung Ning. This milestone marked the beginning of a bright future for AUSMAT graduates at St. Joseph’s.
